Questions
The questions we get asked first.
Everything below comes up on the first call. If yours isn't here, ask us on the call.
§ 01Fit & readinessodd ●
Whether this works for where you are today.
01We tried AI services before and it didn't work. What makes this different?
Most of those projects fail the same way: a vague use case, a rushed rollout, and nobody around when adoption stalls. We work in the opposite order. The Audit finds the highest-leverage problems first, we build only what the numbers justify, and we stay until the system is doing real work in your operation.
02We don't have technical people in-house. Is that a problem?
No. You bring the knowledge of how your business runs; we bring the engineering. What we hand over is built to be used by your team, not maintained by specialists.
03We’ve run our business the same way for years. Are we falling behind?
Running the same way for years usually means the way works. That's an advantage: you know exactly where the friction is. What's changed is what workplace tech can do about it. We start from your current operation and improve what's already proven, rather than reinventing how you work.
04Our data is messy and scattered across multiple systems. Can you still help?
Yes. We work with the systems you already have and handle the technical lift ourselves. You don’t need perfect data or internal infrastructure to get started.
§ 02The engagementeven ○
What the work asks of you, and what it gives back.
05How much internal time will this take?
Less than you’d expect. We run a focused discovery process to capture what we need, then handle the implementation from there. Our goal is to remove work from your plate, not add another project to it.
06How long until we see real results?
Connect work typically runs 2 to 6 weeks. A build is scoped by the Audit, so you get a real timeline before you commit rather than an estimate after. We move quickly, test early, and expand only once the solution is proven.
07Do you cover both strategic advisory and full build execution?
Both. We architect and we build. For mid-market organizations we often act as the strategic anchor for a larger transformation, designing the system from the ground up and staying on retainer while it scales. You get senior oversight and steady execution from the same team.
08What makes oddEven different from other consultants or AI Agencies?
We're operators as much as consultants: we run our own businesses on the systems we ship. We're vendor-neutral, our pricing is public on this site, and the Audit carries a no-fit-no-fee guarantee. Everything we build is shaped to your operation, and you own the custom build outright.
09What exactly do I own?
The custom software we build for you is yours, in full, once that milestone is paid. Source code included. What stays ours is the underlying platform layer we bring to every engagement, the Operating System Foundation. You get a perpetual licence to use it inside your system, for as long as you run that system. Two limits worth knowing up front: that licence moves with your business if you sell it, and it does not extend to separate legal entities such as franchisees without a specific agreement. If you are planning a multi-location or franchise rollout, tell us at the Discovery Call and we will scope it properly.
